A Puerto Rico native, Keyla moved to Western Massachusetts in 2o13 and has been involved with Tech Foundry since its founding. Keyla has a BS in Biology (minor in Chemistry) and a M.Ed in Education. A strong proponent of alternative education and pathways programs, Keyla has been utilizing her background and experience in STEM, education, and educational technology to continuously develop Tech Foundry’s curriculum. Her passion for inquiry-based learning and its potential to foster deep understanding through hands-on and minds-on approaches helps deliver a program that is engaging to students. Two of her main goals at TF is to teach students how to become lifelong learners and to pursue their passion in ways that will help foster their growth.
Keyla’s interests range from outdoor activities such as hiking and photography to indoor activities such as playing video games, hosting board game nights, and traveling with her boyfriend, Francisco, and her corgi, Naki.
