Maureen Oldham comes to Tech Foundry (TF) as a proud alumna of our IT Workforce Training program. Maureen’s work experience spans from tech to the corporate industries, helping teams build their relationships with clients, management, and peers. She will serve as our first-ever AmeriCorps member and Tech Foundry Mentoring Fellow sponsored by Mass Mentoring Partnership and TF. She will serve from August, 2020 – July, 2021 and will work with the Director of Talent Acquisition and Employer Relations, Phyllis Williams-Thompson to establish Tech Foundry’s first-ever alumni mentor-to-student mentee program with both the fall 2020 and spring 2021 cohorts, focused on a student mentee demographic of 18 – 26 year-olds.
Maureen takes pride in helping people translate their professional goals into reality. Every employer she has worked with calls Maureen, “extremely organized, a pulse on details and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Maureen is mentoring co-workers, students, and clients alike through trainings, access to technical tools and most importantly, kindness. Maureen credits her experience in various industries and roles have given her the emotional and professional maturity to work with diverse personalities, abilities, and stages of professional development.
