Tech Foundry and our vital and committed employer partners are at it again. Recently, we were informed that more of our students had been placed in full and part-time work with area businesses.
Emmet Brault, a graduate of our Summer 2016 program, has accepted an offer with Andrew Associates for the position of Help Desk Analyst. Andrew Associates, founded in 1985, is a long-standing pillar of the community that has been on the cutting edge of trends in the ever-evolving world of direct marketing 25 years. Over the course of 25 years, they’ve grown in size and capabilities, but its mission has always remained simple: Continually find the best ways to get your message heard by the people you want to hear it.
Another company taking advantage of Tech Foundry talent is Chicopee Savings Bank, preparing for their merger with Westfield Bank. Recently, Chicopee Savings hired four Tech Foundry graduates on a temporary basis to meet the bank’s transition needs in IT. Jay Pyle, Tahmina Kauser, Donald Fowler, and Sierra Rose all recently started their work with Chicopee Savings Bank and initial word from bank leadership is that they couldn’t be happier with their new employees.
Finally, Jordan Bailey, another graduate of our Summer program, has taken a new job as a Service Desk Analyst at KARL STORZ Endoscopy-America, Inc. For over 70 years, KARL STORZ has achieved numerous milestones and, today, continues to offer significant advances in surgical technology including medical informatics solutions, new technologies for natural orifice and single-incision surgical techniques, and miniature instrumentation for mini-laparoscopic treatment options, among others.
