Lian is passionate about creating opportunities for impactful and high-quality learning experiences. With over a decade of experience in STEM education and several years in management at an international education company, she has led multiple large-scale projects, including summer camps and school programs for international students. Her work encompasses strategic planning, curriculum development, teacher training, and fostering cross-cultural collaboration to enrich education and build inclusive communities.
Holding a Master’s in Education in Math, Science, and Learning Technology from UMass Amherst and currently pursuing a doctorate in the same program, Lian is dedicated to empowering diverse communities through technology-focused and technology-facilitated education, aligning closely with Tech Foundry’s mission to create meaningful career pathways in technology.
Lian has also contributed her skills to grant writing for nonprofit organizations for which she volunteers, securing funding for cultural and educational initiatives. She volunteers with local and national nonprofit organizations to promote mutual understanding between new immigrants and their American-born children, celebrate cultural diversity, and combat racism.
In her free time, Lian enjoys traveling, music, and outdoor adventures with her husband and two children, including skiing, swimming, and hiking. She is excited to bring her expertise and passion to help Tech Foundry make a lasting impact.
