Are you a Class of 2025 Empowerment Zone graduate interested in taking a “deep dive” in tech careers, with a goal of heading to a tech job, college, or both?
Tech Foundry’s Tech Bridge is for you!
The program offers a unique scholarship opportunity for high school students who are passionate about tech to kickstart their careers – or college journey – or both – right after graduation in an engaging, fun program.
Tech is no ordinary career—and this is no ordinary program. Tech Bridge integrates technical training, hands-on learning and exploration, community building and industry-aligned certification pathways, providing a direct bridge to in-demand careers and higher ed in a fun, team-oriented program.
What’s the Tech Bridge deal?
- DURATION: 9 months, starting late summer, 2025 (6 orientation activities, spring and summer)
- ELIGIBILITY: Springfield Empowerment Zone class of 2025 graduates in good standing.
- EXPERIENCE: Tech sector training and college credits to lead to a great job, college enrollment – or both! • Work experience/partnership with local businesses and community organizations • Earning of relevant industry credentials
- COST: The program is a full scholarship opportunity for accepted students; all activities, classes and supplies are no cost to you!
